Both R10W and 12V5W bulbs are compatible with the BA15S single-contact bayonet base, serving as common low-power lighting sources for vehicles. The letter "R" in R10W stands for its reflective structure; the light is emitted directionally after being reflected by the inner wall. With a power of 10W and a typical operating voltage of 12V, it is mostly used as car position lights or license plate lights. The 12V5W bulb features lower power and energy consumption, and is often applied as dashboard backlights, interior reading lights or indicator lights.

The BA15S base has a unified specification with a diameter of 15mm. Its single-contact design ensures stable current conduction, enabling easy plug-and-play installation that fits the lamp slots of most passenger vehicles. Both bulbs adopt tungsten filament lighting technology, emitting warm yellow light with moderate penetration, which can improve visibility in rainy and foggy weather. Compact in size, they fit into confined lamp spaces and are widely used in the auxiliary lighting systems of cars and motorcycles.
