The 12V 3W halogen lamp (marked as W3W) with a base specification of W2.1×9.5D is a low-voltage medium-power tubular halogen light source. Compared with the previous 1.2W specification, it has higher brightness and wider application scenarios. Among the specifications, W3W is the power identification code of the lamp, corresponding to a rated power of 3 watts and a rated voltage of 12 volts; W2.1×9.5D refers to the model specification of its dedicated pin-type base. "W2.1" indicates that the width of the base is 2.1 millimeters, and "9.5D" indicates that the depth (or pin length) of the base is 9.5 millimeters. This type of base is a standardized snap-in pin structure, suitable for dedicated card slot lamp holders. It can be connected by direct plugging and unplugging without welding, featuring stronger compatibility and stability.

Adopting halogen cycle technology, this lamp can effectively inhibit the evaporation loss of the tungsten filament. Compared with ordinary incandescent lamps of the same power, it has higher luminous efficiency, stable color temperature (warm white light ranging from 2700K to 3300K) and a color rendering index of ≥95, which can highly restore the true color of objects. Its 3W power output can meet the needs of a wider range of local lighting, and the 12V low-voltage power supply ensures the safety of use, especially suitable for enclosed or human-accessible scenarios. During use, it needs to be matched with a 12V DC or regulated AC power supply to avoid overvoltage operation; during installation and replacement, it is strictly forbidden to directly touch the glass tube with hands to prevent local overheating caused by residual fingerprint grease and shorten the service life of the lamp. It is widely used in scenarios such as car reading lights, small cabinet lights, precision equipment maintenance lights, and display model lighting.
