The 12V 1.2W T5 halogen lamp with wire is a low-power tubular low-voltage halogen light source. "T5" indicates that the tube diameter is 5/8 inch, which is approximately 15.88 millimeters after conversion, slightly thicker than the T4 specification tube; "W/Wire" means the lamp adopts a wire lead-out design, without a standard lamp base at the bottom, and is directly equipped with two power supply wires.
With a rated voltage of 12 volts and a rated power of 1.2 watts, it reduces the evaporation loss of the tungsten filament through the halogen cycle principle. Compared with ordinary incandescent lamps of the same specification, it has the advantages of higher luminous efficiency, stable color temperature (warm white light, with a conventional color temperature range of 2800K–3200K) and excellent color rendering index (CRI value ≥ 95), which can truly restore the color of the illuminated object.

The wire lead-out design makes it suitable for narrow or special installation spaces, and can be directly connected to the circuit through welding or terminal blocks without additional lamp base accessories, providing high installation flexibility. This lamp needs to be matched with a 12V DC or regulated AC power supply. Overvoltage power supply is strictly prohibited during use. Meanwhile, avoid direct contact with the glass tube with hands to prevent local overheating caused by fingerprint grease and shorten the service life of the lamp. It is commonly used in low-power scenarios such as backlighting of precision instruments, light sources of small optical equipment, indicator lights of medical testing devices, and lighting of micro display devices.
